InsightChef Pro V2.0 DIY Chef Training 1 of 7: First Launch & Command Center Open safely. Enable the workbook. Start from one clear map. Slide 1: First launch starts with one trusted file Welcome to InsightChef Pro. Begin with the release workbook saved in its permanent local working folder. Open it in desktop Excel, and choose Enable Content when Excel asks. That allows the buttons, protections, and guided workflows to operate as designed. Avoid opening the workbook directly from a web preview or from inside a compressed file. Slide 2: Let startup finish before you begin After macros are enabled, give the workbook a moment to complete its startup checks. The splash screen and protections prepare the customer-facing sheets. Clicking repeatedly during startup can interrupt Excel while it is restoring the interface. When startup completes, use the visible navigation and buttons to move through the system. Slide 3: The Command Center is the operating map The Command Center is the workbook's operating map. Culinary tools manage ingredients, recipes, plates, cocktails, and the menu. Daily Operations covers receiving, production, counts, waste, and sales. Cost and performance tools connect those records to purchasing and analysis. Reports and administration complete the picture without exposing hidden system sheets. Slide 4: Use the buttons—leave the protected structure alone Use the workbook exactly as an operator would: through visible buttons, guided entry cells, and approved sheet tabs. Do not rename sheets, unhide system areas, or copy modules between workbooks. The current release completed its workbook-rules audit, so the safest path is to preserve that governed structure. Slide 5: Your next step: add the operation's vendors With startup complete, the next practical step is vendor setup. Open Settings and enter each active vendor once. Vendor pack profiles intentionally begin empty in a clean customer release. They are learned from real receiving activity, so the workbook starts clean and becomes specific to the chef's operation over time.
