Information we collect
When you visit the site or purchase DIY Chef, we may receive your name, email address, business name, billing address, phone number, licensed business location, order identifiers, license records, support communications, download and fulfillment status, and basic technical information such as IP address and device/browser data.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. InsightChef Pro does not receive or store your complete card number. Stripe processes payment and related information under its own privacy terms.
How we use information
- Process and verify purchases.
- Create and administer the single-location license.
- Deliver the purchased package and prevent unauthorized redistribution.
- Provide customer support, replacement access and security notices.
- Maintain business, tax, fraud-prevention and legal records.
- Improve the website, documentation and product.
Service providers
We use service providers including Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and business email providers. They receive only the information required to perform their services.
Sharing and selling
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to service providers, professional advisers, regulators or law enforcement when reasonably necessary to operate the business, protect rights, prevent fraud or comply with law.
Retention and security
Order and license records are retained as needed to verify the license, provide support and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to review or correct customer information by emailing us. Some purchase, license and transaction records must be retained for operational or legal reasons.
